The AATPC Campus recently concluded an inspiring two-day hackathon designed to empower graduate students, alumni, and members of its incubation center. This event was more than a competition; it was an educational journey focused on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship.
Participants engaged in sessions that covered essential topics such as e-commerce trends, design thinking, and prototyping techniques, providing them with the tools needed to transform their ideas into viable business ventures. The hackathon cultivated a collaborative environment where attendees brainstormed and developed innovative e-commerce concepts tailored to specific market needs. With guidance from design thinking experts, participants successfully prototyped their ideas.
Following the prototyping phase, attendees dove into business planning, refining their concepts into mini-business models that addressed target markets, revenue streams, and scalability. The excitement peaked during the pitch session, where individuals and teams presented their ideas to a panel of coordinators.
However, the hackathon was just the beginning of the entrepreneurial journey. The most promising concepts were selected for further development within the 3E Incubation Program. This initiative provides budding entrepreneurs with essential support, including mentorship, training, and networking opportunities.
“Empowering aspiring entrepreneurs is at the heart of what we do,” said a representative from AATPC. “The skills and connections gained during this hackathon will pave the way for these innovators to launch successful businesses.”
With the event now complete, participants are eager to refine their ideas and take advantage of the resources offered through the incubation program, setting the stage for future success in their entrepreneurial endeavors.
